We are Loving Arms Cancer Outreach, Inc.
WHO ARE WE
We are a non-profit organization in possession of our 5O1C3 charitable status. We have a vision of helping cancer patients and their families. Our only requirement for helping someone is that they have a diagnosis of cancer, no particular kind, just cancer. Our organization was founded by 2 nurses that have a combined 30+ years of experience working with cancer patients. That’s 30+ years of hearing the heart and needs of patients and their families.
With the economy and the uncertain healthcare industry, the concerns of cancer patients are growing. Having cancer is enough, they should not have to worry about gas, power bills etc… Thus, Loving Arms Cancer Outreach, Inc was born. We have a heart for cancer patients and want to make their journey a little easier.
WHO DO WE HELP
Currently we help people with a cancer diagnosis that have undergone some type of treatment within the last 18 months that reside in the following counties in Georgia:
YOU CAN HELP
Your financial support enables Loving Arms to provide assistance for those living with cancer. An unexpected side effect of a cancer diagnosis is the financial burden that comes with fighting this disease. When you combine increasing medical bills with lost wages, even managing day to day expenses becomes a struggle.
Loving Arms embraces patients throughout their cancer journey. Every service in our outreach program is designed to empower cancer patients and help their families at no charge.
YOU CAN HELP OTHERS SIMPLY BY USING YOUR KROGER CARD!
Support doesn’t always have to come directly from monetary donations. Register your Kroger card and choose Loving Arms Cancer Outreach as your chosen charity. This does NOT affect any of your other points/rewards you get from Kroger.

TWO NURSES. ONE HEARTBEAT
Diana Hurst and Shamichael Traylor Co-Founded Loving Arms Cancer Outreach in 2011. They have a combined 30+ years of experience in taking care of cancer patients as Oncology nurses. Listening to their patients they discovered the needs and challenges cancer brings to the lives of people. They felt the “call” on their lives to reach out and do something to help the people in their community.
Cancer is a tough, life changing experience. Diana and Shamichael want to help make that journey easier. Through every step, from diagnosis through treatment, Loving Arms offer emotional and financial support as well as other services.
Hugs are their specialty, listening with their hearts is their promise!
